Organic People

Organic. Free-range. Un-adulterated. Natural. Additive-free.

With the growing awareness and looming health concerns, we all are running after food which is labelled with this kind of synonyms. Because we all want to reach our old age without any ignored health adage.  Those who care for their health and well-being, care for what they are having as food for their body.

The time is near when we will be looking out for people with the same qualities.

Raw. Unequivocal. Forthright. Genuine. Authentic.

With the passage of time, it is becoming more and more difficult to find real products. There are more copies than originals. Similarly, there are more hypocrites than uprights around us.

The soul craves for unambiguous honesty, the same way as the body craves for raw freshness.

We all want to eat what is not going to affect our physical health. Our heart wants to hear what is not going to devastate our mental health.

The body needs the nutrition which it doesn’t need to regret having later. The heart wants the amity where the mind doesn’t have to regret its decision later.

The body wants the food which replenishes its energy needs. The heart wants the company which fulfills the needs of the soul.

Too unfortunate that replicas are more and genuine people are less.

Too heart wrenching that hypocrisy is more appreciated and truthfulness is less admired.

Too demotivating that diplomacy is more in demand and rightfulness is less.

Organic People are becoming rare and endangered species.

The need of the hour is to preserve the purity of such souls. Lend them an ear to hear, bring forward a hand to support and pat them on the back for maintaining their originality in times of extreme fabrication.

Be your Best Friend or Worst Enemy

Yes, WE are our only best friend and worst enemy!

It all comes down to what we choose to do with our lives.

Our hostility, antagonism, procrastination and self-pity are our worst enemies.

Similarly, self-love, self-assurance, and self-esteem are our best friends.

List of our enemies and friends is long. More often we take our enemies as our friends or rely more on these enemies than the friends. The result is also what is always expected out of such wrongdoings. We welcome self-destruction in our lives. We are surrounded by the haze of haste in our personal and professional lives. This makes differentiating among friends and enemies a difficult task.

Unless and until you know your self-worth, you will be a victim of the pressures of an opinionated world.

No one can make you feel inferior without your own consent. Also, if you don’t respect yourself no amount of appreciation from others will be enough for you.

Nothing enriches a life more than knowledge of one’s self.

Nothing destroys a life more than self-doubt.

No matter what the world says, no matter what the people ask you to do, you are responsible for your own actions. Come what may, don’t fall a prey to anyone’s agendas. It’s your life, steer it the way you like. If you will not acknowledge the world around you, sooner or later you will lose the control. Work it wisely. Because no one and I repeat no one can take the decisions in your place because no one is going to bear the consequences of these decisions. So, take up only that, which you can live with at the end of the day.

Make decisions such that when you look back at your life you don’t feel that you have dealt yourself with the ruthlessness of an enemy but with the tender loving care of a friend.

The only relationship that is permanent in this world is the one that you have with your own self. Anyone and everyone is bound to leave us one day. At the end of the day we are left with our own self. So, we must learn to forgive, love and respect our self.

So, It’s high time that we become our own best friend otherwise we will eventually become our own worst enemy.

Sit with yourself.

Listen to your heart.

Enjoy your own company.

Be content with yourself.

Befriend yourself.

Make a friend out of this enemy.

Similar Strange Fate

Walking down the street

Looking at a stone

I kicked it away

So, I thought

HE is the one

Who decides the fate

of each stone

Where it will be kicked away

Out of the way

By whom

Out of who’s way

We humans have the same fate

In our course of life

It is destined

Where we are meant to be

In who’s journey of life

To be chosen by whom

Rejected by whom

Thus, stones on a path

and We, in our lives

Have a similar strange fate

Journey and Destination

I want the journey

To continue

And never to reach

A destination

Journeys are magical

destinations are mythical

Journeys make you disappear

To travel

In the world of your thoughts

Destinations are

The people we don’t want to meet

The places we don’t want to visit

and things we don’t want to do

So, sometimes I just want to escape reality

Want the journey to continue

Never to reach anywhere

Just Sometimes…..

That Abandoned Bike!

Patrick Lynch / Alamy Stock Photo

Life changes us

whether we like it or not

Sometimes we leave what we love and

some other times that love leaves us

Just like that abandoned bike

along the lake

that was left to rust

No one knew where it come from

Whose bike was it and

why it was left there

But, it laid there

tilted towards one side

As if it was waiting for its owner or

may be for someone who can adopt it like his own

and take it home

But, it was abandoned like a neglected child,

like a left-out pet

We humans do the same to people and places

Sometimes we are too selfish to think for the ones

whom we leave behind

Sometimes we are too engrossed in our own lives

that we fail to feel the pain of those whom we leave behind

Just like that abandoned bike!
